The truth must be told to each generation and to every people in new and different terms, so that when the Great Teacher said—“Believe that ye receive and ye shall receive” or, when Paul said –“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” or, when modern science says –“The law of attraction is the law by which thought correlates with its object”, each statement when subjected to analysis, is found to contain exactly the same truth. The only difference being in the form of presentation. Charles F. Haanel
We sometimes struggle with trying to “see” what we want our life to look like, yet there is all this evidence that we can attract what we think about. It occurred to me this week that we should treat this picture of our future life the same way a bride plans her wedding. The bride get pictures of her dress, the shoes, the cake, the flowers, the venue, the music, the food, the reception, the vows, the friends and family gathered together and more. She is able to “see” what the wedding day will look like and who will be in attendance. She then does the work to make it happen.
During my time of relaxation and meditation I am concentrating on seeing the life I want with more clarity, just like the bride preparing for her wedding. I am picturing every little detail. I know what I want and I believe that I will achieve that life, just as I see it in my mind. I also know that there is work to be done to get to that point and I know what that work looks like.
